My Rating: 3/5
This was a decent episode! Samwise is always welcome on my screen (If you don’t know what I’m talking about, I’m ashamed of you).
J’onn’s storyline finally makes sense! I hate how, because CW demands over 20 episodes of a show that could be done better in at least 13, storylines suffer. This would have been great to see earlier on. His character is going to go through a lot of mental pain now and I’m interested in how he will deal with his guilt/try to make up for his mistake.
The love story is sweet but it’s a shame that Brainy and Dreamer’s story has been pulled apart. This was foreshadowed in the previous episodes, but it still feels unnecessary. This is the show telling us they can’t think of enough to full over 20 episodes…
Lena and Cara’s relationship takes a turn (for the better or worse, you decide). I feel like there has been a line crossed here and that’s purposeful – the writers of the show want us to know that Lena is fully in control of the guilty Cara, and Cara will do anything for her (supposed) friend.
The british guy has a secret. That’s all I have to say about that! I am interested though – is it something to do with the group who hired Lena’s old friend, now robot-AI-something-or-other?
