My Review

My Rating: 5/5

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis is a classic fantasy book that will live on forever.

How C. S. Lewis fits such a huge story into 171 pages I will never know. During the battle towards the end of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe I felt like I had been in Narnia for several hours.

However, on finishing the book it took only one and a half hours – I suppose it is true that time spent in Narnia is not the same as time in our world.

The only issue I have with this story is that the second half of the book feels a little rushed. So much happens but there isn’t much of a climax.

I will continue to reread these books in The Chronicles of Narnia for the rest of my life, buying new copies as my current ones fall apart!
