Rating: 4.5/5

This was a welcome return for Percy Jackson (I missed the sarcastic hero!) as he’s introduced to a new Half-Blood Camp that isn’t familiar to him at all – it’s for demigods of the Roman Gods.

This books is funny, intense, and introduces two new characters, Frank and Hazel, which adds to the plot as they go on a quest – the quest of the seven.

I love this new story-line and I can’t wait to explore it further with Annabeth taking the main stage in the next book. Percy’s character was as distinct as always and I loved seeing him in action once again.

It’s such an easy and exciting read! I love a book that can be read in an afternoon so this was perfect.
