Revolutionary Road by Richard Yates: A Review

Marriage can be difficult but for some it’s a chore. and ‘Revolutionary Road’ follows the tale of a broken marriage. Throughout the novel, Frank and April Wheeler constantly find new ways of irritating and disgusting each other.
My Review
Rating: 3/5
This novel explores into depth the issues with marriage and how not to cope with them. From the perspective of Frank, we see how things go from bad to worse just via simple, yet heightened, conversations, even if some of them are only imagined in his head.
Yates illustrates wonderfully how we should never take what we have for granted as April and Frank grow increasingly distanced.
